What is Stylage Bi-Soft S with lidocaine and what sets it apart?
Stylage Bi-Soft S with lidocaine is a filler from the Bi-Soft line by Laboratoires VIVACY. Unlike the lidocaine-free version, this preparation contains lidocaine 3 mg/g — a local anaesthetic from the aminoamide group — which:
- reduces pain sensation during injection, ensuring maximum patient comfort,
- acts locally — anaesthesia activates in tissue directly upon delivery of the preparation,
- is particularly valuable in sensitive areas (eye area, lips, hands) where natural skin sensitivity is higher.
The Bi-Soft formula combines exceptional HA gel elasticity with antioxidants (sorbitol + mannitol) that delay oxidative HA degradation and extend treatment longevity. Stylage products undergo complete absorption without residual lumps.
With lidocaine or without – when to choose this version?
- With lidocaine (this version) — when patient comfort is the priority; ideal for sensitive areas (eye area, lips), patients with low pain threshold, or when the specialist does not plan a separate anaesthesia protocol,
- Without lidocaine — when the specialist wants full control over the anaesthesia protocol (topical cream, regional block) or for patients with amide local anaesthetic hypersensitivity.

FAQ – questions and answers
How does lidocaine in Stylage differ from separate anaesthesia?
Lidocaine contained directly in the preparation acts at the injection site immediately upon gel delivery — no topical creams applied 30–45 minutes in advance, no regional blocks required. It is anaesthesia built into the procedure, which does not extend preparation time and provides localised comfort precisely where the gel is delivered.
Why can't the lidocaine version be used in certain areas?
Stylage Bi-Soft S with lidocaine cannot be injected into very thin skin areas (forehead, orbital area, eyelids, under-eye area in crow's feet correction) or areas with exposed blood vessels. This restriction applies exclusively to the lidocaine version. The without-lidocaine version does not carry these anatomical limitations. For tear trough and lip corners, the lidocaine version is fully indicated.
Can Stylage with lidocaine produce a positive anti-doping test?
Yes — the lidocaine hydrochloride in the preparation may produce a positive anti-doping test result. This must be considered when treating competitive athletes and they should be informed before the procedure.
When should I choose the 2×0.8 ml pack?
The 2×0.8 ml with lidocaine offers a lower unit price and allows treating two patients or bilateral symmetric correction in one order. The 1×0.8 ml is ideal for a first trial or single-area treatment.
Stylage Bi-Soft S with lidocaine is intended exclusively for use by doctors and cosmetologists trained in aesthetic medicine holding qualifications to perform intradermal injections. Before use, confirm the absence of contraindications to lidocaine. By purchasing this product you confirm that you hold the required professional qualifications.
