What is MD-TISSUE and how does it differ from MD-MATRIX?

MD-TISSUE is a GUNA collagen medical device focused on anti-ageing, wrinkle reduction and photo-ageing. Tropocollagen (native, non-cross-linked animal collagen) is the direct precursor of skin collagen and can penetrate tissue after intradermal injection.

Tropocollagen and the role of active ingredients

• Tropocollagen — native, non-cross-linked animal collagen monomer. Can be directly incorporated by fibroblasts for new collagen fibre synthesis. Hydrates mature skin, reduces wrinkles and restores elasticity,
• Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) — essential cofactor for collagen hydroxylation; without it collagen synthesis cannot proceed,
• Magnesium gluconate — supports enzymes involved in protein and collagen synthesis,
• Vitamins B1, B2, B6 — support cellular metabolism and fibroblast regenerative processes.

Injection techniques and treatment protocol

Intradermal technique: Disinfect area → injection depth 1–3 mm → volume per puncture 0.2–0.3 ml

Tunnelling technique (wrinkle correction): 0.3 ml per wrinkle → insert full needle length → deliver product while withdrawing

Protocol: First 2 weeks: 2×/week; then 1×/week until satisfactory results (average 8–10 sessions); maintenance: 1×/week for 10 weeks; chronic changes: 1×/week for 1 month then 1×/month.
