Triple-phase mechanism of action

Phase 1: Physical support (0–2 weeks post-injection)

Non-cross-linked HA (7.5 mg) immediately fills tissues and restores volume. PDLLA microparticles (10–40 μm) act as scaffolding — giving the HA hydrogel cohesion and preventing migration. Result: immediate filling and surface evening.

Phase 2: Reconstruction (2 weeks – 6 months)

As hyaluronic acid undergoes hydrolysis, PDLLA microparticles intensively stimulate fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin. The biostimulating action becomes dominant — skin grows denser, firmer and more deeply hydrated.

Phase 3: Maintenance (6+ months)

After 6 months the definitive, exceptional result is visible. Juvelook undergoes gradual biodegradation, its role taken over by newly synthesised collagen fibres maintaining the natural rejuvenation for at least 24 months.

Patented technology – why no lumps?

Traditional PLLA preparations may form subcutaneous lumps requiring massage. Juvelook's two patents eliminate this risk:

• Patent No. 10-1725279 — spray process for polylactic acid microparticles — spherical porous shape.

Spherical, porous microparticles of strictly controlled 10–40 μm size distribute evenly, do not aggregate and require no post-injection massage.

Preparation

Add 5.5 ml saline (or 4.5 ml water + 1 ml 2% lidocaine) to the Juvelook ampoule. Mix in a VORTEX shaker for 30 minutes. Prepared product may be stored for up to 30 days refrigerated; before using pre-prepared product: 15 min at room temperature + 15 min VORTEX.

How does PDLLA differ from traditional PLLA (e.g. Sculptra)?

Traditional PLLA (Poly-L-Lactic Acid) has a single left-handed isomeric structure that can lead to lump formation requiring massage. PDLLA (Poly D,L-Lactic Acid) is a D and L isomer blend resulting in a more uniform, spherical particle shape (Juvelook patent) — eliminating lump risk and the need for massage. Additionally, the smaller particle size (10–40 μm) enables safe use in the delicate periocular area — which PLLA cannot achieve.

When to choose Juvelook vs Lenisna?

Juvelook (42.5 mg PDLLA, 10–40 μm particles) is for large-surface revitalisation via mesotherapy technique, including the periocular area — indicated for early to moderate ageing signs.
