What is NITHYA S-Line Shield?

NITHYA S-Line Shield is a specialist biorevitalising mesotherapy preparation produced by Euroresearch Srl — the same manufacturer behind the acclaimed NITHYA Type I Collagen line. The product combines succinic acid (sodium succinate) — a metabolic activator of cellular energy — and non-cross-linked high-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid. Unlike classic HA or vitamin mesotherapy cocktails, S-Line Shield acts at the level of cellular metabolism — addressing the energetic root causes of tired, grey and oedematous skin.

Succinic acid – mechanism of metabolic action

Sodium succinate is an endogenous substance — a key Krebs cycle metabolite naturally produced by mitochondria. When supplied intradermally, it acts as direct metabolic fuel for skin cells:

The Krebs cycle (TCA) is the fundamental metabolic pathway of every living cell — a series of mitochondrial reactions producing ATP. As skin ages or is exposed to oxidative stress, mitochondrial activity declines. Supplying succinate intradermally works like a "mitochondrial restart" — bypassing earlier cycle stages and directly feeding the electron transport chain, immediately increasing cellular energy availability.

Hyaluronic acid – hydration and environment for fibroblasts

FAQ – questions and answers

Does the 5×3 ml pack give 5 full sessions for one patient?
Yes — one 3 ml vial covers one full facial session (or face + neck or face + periorbital area). The 5×3 ml pack is sufficient for a complete 5-session cycle for one patient, or individual treatments for several patients.

How does succinic acid differ from vitamins in classic mesotherapy cocktails?
Vitamins act as enzymatic cofactors and antioxidants. Succinic acid works deeper: it is a direct Krebs cycle metabolite that injects energy (ATP) into mitochondria. The fundamental difference: vitamins are building materials, succinate is fuel.

How many sessions are needed to see results?
First results (brightening, improved hydration, reduced oedema) appear after 1–2 sessions. Lasting improvement is achieved after a full cycle of 4–6 sessions.

Can S-Line Shield be used during dermapen treatment?
