Ph Doctor Elbow and Knee Cream with 12% glycolic acid is a multifunctional cosmetic product that exfoliates, smooths and softens the skin. The formula with low-pH glycolic acid supports epidermal renewal, normalises the keratinisation process and helps improve skin texture and tone. The product has lifting, anti-ageing and moisturising effects, leaving the skin on the elbows and knees smoother, softer and more elastic. Regular use helps reduce roughness, calluses and the appearance of uneven skin tone. The cream absorbs well and contains 79% ingredients of natural origin.

Active ingredients

• Glycolic Acid 12% - belongs to the alpha hydroxy acid AHA group and is one of the best-studied acids used in skincare. Thanks to its small molecular size, it effectively penetrates the layers of the epidermis, supporting renewal and exfoliation. It helps normalise the keratinisation process, smooths the skin, improves skin tone and brightens pigmentation spots. It supports the production of collagen and glycosaminoglycans, including hyaluronic acid, making the skin firmer, more elastic and better moisturised. It also helps reduce transepidermal water loss and counteracts skin dryness.

Directions for use

Use once daily on clean and completely dry skin on the elbows and knees. Apply a small amount of cream to the selected areas, then gently massage until absorbed. Due to the product’s low pH, a mild tingling sensation may occur during application.

During the summer or when the skin is exposed to the sun, apply a sunscreen with at least SPF 30 to the elbow and knee areas during the day. Perform a patch test before first use.

Contraindications

• The product is not intended for pregnant or breastfeeding women.
  
• Do not use in case of hypersensitivity or allergy to any ingredient of the product.
  
• Do not use on very sensitive skin due to the low pH and high concentration of glycolic acid.
  
• Do not apply to irritated, damaged, abraded skin or skin with active inflammation.
  
• Do not use directly after depilation, shaving, exfoliation or treatments that compromise the epidermal barrier.
  
• Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes.
  
• In case of intense burning, redness, itching or irritation, discontinue use.
  
• Due to the high activity of the formula and low pH, the product may cause mild tingling during application.
