Ph. Doctor Scalp and Hair Shampoo is a gentle yet effective formula created for daily cleansing and care. It removes impurities, excess sebum and residue from styling products, leaving the scalp fresh, soothed and well cared for. The formula with lactic acid and Saccharide Isomerate supports hydration, microbiome balance and helps reduce dryness, flaking and scalp discomfort. The shampoo helps regulate sebum production, while hair feels light, soft, fresh and lifted at the roots after use. The product is fragrance-free and suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women.

Active ingredients:

• Saccharide Isomerate - a natural sugar complex derived from glucose, which mimics the action of the skin’s Natural Moisturising Factor, NMF. It binds permanently to keratin present in the scalp and hair, providing long-lasting hydration for up to 72 hours. It helps retain moisture in the epidermis and reduces dryness, flaking, tightness and itching. It supports the balance of the scalp microbiome, improves hair softness and elasticity, and reduces susceptibility to mechanical damage.

• Lactic Acid - a gentle AHA acid that supports exfoliation of dead epidermal cells on the scalp and helps cleanse the openings of hair follicles. It provides moisturising benefits, supports the scalp’s hydrolipid barrier and helps maintain its proper pH. It has a beneficial effect on the skin microbiome, reducing discomfort associated with flaking, dryness and a tendency to dandruff. Regular use may help regulate sebum production and improve the absorption of active ingredients.

• Gentle cleansing agents - effectively remove impurities, sebum and residue from styling products without irritating the scalp. They create a creamy foam, rinse off easily and ensure comfort during daily use.

Directions for use:

Use when washing your hair, even daily if your scalp needs it. Apply a suitable amount of shampoo to wet scalp and gently massage with your fingertips until foam forms. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Then repeat the application, leaving the shampoo on the scalp for 2–3 minutes to allow the active ingredients to work more effectively. Rinse thoroughly again with lukewarm water, then apply a Ph. Doctor Dermocosmetics conditioner or mask.

Contraindications:

• Do not use in case of allergy or hypersensitivity to any ingredient of the product.
• Avoid contact with the eyes. If the product gets into the eyes, rinse thoroughly with water.
• Do not use on damaged, freshly irritated or wounded scalp.
• If burning, itching, redness or increased flaking occurs, discontinue use.
• The product is suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women.
